Frequently asked questions
Plans & billing
You choose. You can renew automatically, or pay each invoice manually. Either way, we send a hosting renewal reminder 14 days ahead, so a charge never arrives unannounced. Domains are separate, with reminders 45, 7, and 1 days before they expire.
Yes, depending on your plan. Essential covers a single WordPress site, Standard covers up to 3, and Plus covers up to 10. The plan comparison shows what each includes.
Yes — upgrades take effect right away, and you pay only the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades apply at your next renewal.
From your client area, anytime. Your service keeps running until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing renews after that.
We accept credit card and PayPal payments.
We'll let you know, and we'll help you figure out whether it's a temporary spike or a sign it's time to move up a plan. Occasional bursts are normal and we don't suspend sites over them — sustained overuse is the point where a larger plan makes sense.
Migration
Yes — free migration is included on every plan, with no setup fee. We copy your site over, set it up to match, and confirm it works on our servers before anything changes for your visitors. You make the final switch when you’re ready, and we walk you through it.
No. Your site keeps running on your current host the whole time, and nothing switches until you've reviewed the copy and told us to go ahead.
Most are ready within a business day. Unusually complex setups may take longer, and we'll tell you in advance if yours is one of them.
Technical
Our servers are located in the United States.
Yes — email accounts are included with every plan and managed through your control panel.
Yes. It's your WordPress — install what you need. If a plugin has a known security problem, we'll flag it and patch proactively where we can.
Yes — every account includes cPanel with full access to files, databases, DNS, and email. Nothing is locked behind a support request.
Support
Log in and open a ticket — it's the fastest way, since it arrives with your account details attached.
Most requests get a first response within the hour. Our published targets are on the Service Commitments page.
Both, within reason. We'll always help with anything on the platform side, and we'll point you in the right direction on WordPress itself — we've seen most problems before.
Policies
New customers get a 30-day money-back guarantee on their first hosting payment. After that, renewals are refundable on a prorated basis if you cancel within 7 days of the charge. Domains are non-refundable, since the registration fee is paid to the registry up front. Full details are on the refund policy page.
All of our policies are public: Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, and Service Commitments. Links are in the footer of every page.
The Privacy Policy covers what we collect and why; the Data Processing Addendum covers hosting customer data, with our sub-processors listed on their own page.
